Financial Accounting FAQs

Ask an adviser
When are my company accounts due?

Private company accounts are normally due at Companies House nine months after your year end. The Corporation Tax return is due 12 months after the end of the accounting period, but the tax is usually payable nine months and one day after it.

Do you file with both Companies House and HMRC?

Yes. We file accounts with Companies House and the accounts, computation and CT600 with HMRC.

Can you help if my accounts are late?

Yes. We prioritise overdue filings and can appeal late filing penalties where there is a reasonable excuse.

Can I book a consultation before becoming a client?

Yes. Your introductory call helps us understand what you need, and we send a fixed-fee quote before any work begins.
